Hey girls~ Now that Thanksgiving's just about over and we're moving into the stretch of the week's prior to Christmas I thought I'd better check with you to see when you might like a get-together. I put it on the calendar as a suggestion for us to do sometime between now and Christmas. Do you guys want to try and put something together? Moni, you recently asked me about whether we would and when Chris may be out. I know we were hoping to arrange a time for when Chris was out for a visit so that the entire group could be together. Is there any possibility of a visit out this way, C? We wouldn't want to miss an opportunity to have you with our group for some holiday cheer, good time. How about the rest of you's? Let's have everyone comment on their availability for the weekend's Dec 6th forward along with suggestions for what we could do and where we could do it. Thanks!!

Weekend of Dec. 6-7- me thinks my mom and I are going to Santa Cruz to visit Gramma. But we'd only be gone for the day - probably Saturday. And, if this is the only weekend that works for the rest of you, we can postpone SC. Weekend of Dec. 13-14 - free Weekend of Dec. 20-21 - Have the office holiday par-tay on Saturday night at my boss's house. Weekend of Dec. 27-28 - free As for where... I'm happy to have ya'll come to my humble abode. We could meet here, have a glass of wine (or two or three or ten) then head out for dinner... I seem to recall that PF Chang's was bandied about as being a fave. Or, we could do sort of a potluck and get rowdy in the relative comfort of my home.

Hello The Ladies... Christine mentioned coming here in January...so I propose this...we can get together for a little something-something before Christmas...and in January I'll host a slumber party for us grills...I have lots of bedroom space, extra powder rooms, and momma can cook! That way, we all have time to plan arrangements, and block the weekend so we all can participate!!! Plus no driving in da fog! As far as Dec...this is my busiest time of year for work: Dec. 6, Toys for Tots Drive/Christmas Tree Lighting in Chowchilla Dec 13, Canned Food Drive, Toys for Tots/Christmas Parade in Kerman Dec 20, Council Service Dec 27, free and clear... I can pre-arrange the 20th, no problem...but the 6th and the 13th I have to work until about 8pm...grrrrr!...but I can always meet up with you afterwards...also my home is always open!!! Sorry I'm such a stick!

If anyone cares, P.F. Changs sounds good to me...then perhaps we can retire to Moni's or Jen's house (you can thank me later Jen for offering up your home...) or whoever is closest for more fun!

My husband's family will be here for two weeks starting the 20th, so, for me, the sooner the better. My house is close to 99 and Herndon, so I'll put it out there...or, wait, Dor will! P.F. Changs does sound yummy, so I'll second that one. I'm good for whatever is decided--and am looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hey girls~ Thanks so much for taking the time to share your availability. I wrote everyone's down on paper to see if a date matched for all. If we are to meet in December it appears the only date that will work for most is the weekend of the 13th. Shel, you are scheduled for an event in Kerman that evening but could join the fun after 8? We'd just be getting warmed up by then, I'd bet! Or, how about a Sunday (could be on a Saturday) brunch (potluck style) w/Mimosa's and chillin' at someone's home instead of an evening thing? Might need to be at Moni's-- if the offers still open!.. that way we mom's can leave our kids in the dust! I'm available up until the 19th--we're leaving that day to spend Christmas at the beach this year! Another option is to wait until January! If it's just too crazy-busy for all of us..let's say so. What'd ya'll think? Chris..so hate to make plans knowing you won't be here to be a part of them. Sorry! (you!) wink... Want to do a gift exchange? Was thinking to set the limit to $15 or less. Hey..thanks..it's a new set of... Or any other festive idear's??

The offer of my house is definitely still open -- ANY TIME! I'm at Sierra and Maroa - semi-close to PF Changes, if that's what we decide. I'm all for brunch, too. Or instead of, or whatever.

Thanks Moni and Jenn.. for being open to share your home for our hoilday gathering! I think Shel should tell us about the 13th for her and if a AM thing is better or worse.. then we can decide. My folks are chomping at the bit for me to come there to stay over since I'll be up for our get together and I told them it may even be as soon as this weekend so as soon as we know I have to call my parents! If Shel's schedule won't allow her to fully enjoy our good time then let's wait until January when all can be present, relaxed and ready. Everyone agree wit dat??!!

Hi Grills... The 13th is fine, but I'ma gonna be late...I have to be in Kerman at 5:00...and can probably sneak away by 7:30...maybe even sooner...BUT there is a slight chance it may be cancelled...I'll know tomorrow for sure. Oh and evening is better, because if I do have to go to Kerman, then I have to prepare during the day...if not, then I'm free and clear all day n night! OK so how was that for wishy-washy! HA! How about I write back tomorrow evening when I have more info in stone...yes? You all make plans, and I'll fit them into my schedule somehow...when there's a will, there's a way! I'm excited!!!! I can't wait to see youses!!!

Hello Girls! The 13th sounds good to me, but I do agree with Courtney that we should hold off til January if Shel's event does not cancel. It just wouldn't feel right to me if Shel was missin' out on beginning of our night! I do have possible plans for the 13th should our girl time not happen. So the sooner we make plans official the better for me. Love you all! Lesson status for me: Still in lesson 5

I'm good for Lesson 5. January might be best...so we can all be there...tho' I'm secretly hoping Shelyn's event is cancelled!! Wait, unless that would be a bad thing! Hope everyone is doing great.

Hey ladies! Shel, what up with the 13th... did you ever find out what you're doing? I've been really wanting some girl time, so I'm hoping not to have to wait until January! Even though it's only a few weeks, it seems like it's a loooooong time from now! And who says we can't have BOTH? Lesson 5: I'm on day 3. Are we shooting to have Lesson 5 done this weekend for comments?
